Distortion

For all of us that live within the city of Tulsa, we are always seeing light. The light that is all around us shows us our surroundings, but light can also present us with the idea of how surreal life is as well. Many of us experience surreal moments or thoughts, but don't pay much attention to it. Life can be almost like a painting, highlight some of the oddities we face. For this series, in order to capture the surreal feel to my images, I took pictures of light inside of my car. Instead of focusing on the light, I focusing on the spots and streaks on my windows, giving the image a painting-like feel.
